This was a commercial that South Normal did for Burt Automotive Group at Frog Island Park in Ypsilanti back in May of 2006. They wrote the jingle and did about a hundred takes. A bunch of us SN fans showed up to play audience extras, throw beach-balls around and scream "It's Burt!". If you watch closely you can see one local notable singing back-up with the band and another leaping off the stage. It was interesting to see how a full-production commercial gets made and exhausting as well. Not their best moment, but certainly memorable. You can read about it and see pictures here.
