I agree with most of this reply. I always look at the pictures before the music because like HB suggests, I like to put a face with the band when I'm listening. And yeah, if they look like jack asses - they ususally sound like the poop that comes out of a jack ass. So with that HB, I agree.

That's not to say that there aren't a bunch of fat, ugly and poorly dressed bands out there that totally kick ass. Take Tad for example or Govt. Mule. We watched some of the Mule DVD last night and those guys are depressing to watch but they ***** rock and that's enough to get you!

So I'd say image is a lot of it, I don't know if I'd say it's everything because ultimately the music is what speaks. Image is like the wrapping on a christmas gift though - the present is always more intriquing when the wrapping is kick ass.

Play like you care and look like you care! Okay I'm done now. Thanks.

I have to agree with HB, I like to know who I'm listening to. It doesn't have anything to do with the 'pretty people' theory. The poll question was "What do you click on FIRST on a band's website?". I hit the pics then listen to the tunes to put a face to the sound.

And unless your a pro athlete, leave the sports gear at home. It screams cover band!

I agree with HB on this, it's almost like why logos have a certain look to them, it helps people remember who they are. I agree that your dress is a reflection and is part of the whole package.
