| I decided to utilize the classified section of the site to search for a new band. For some reason, my ad has been removed...I'll have to contact the webmaster about that, as to why that is.
I only got one response. Maybe it's because I'm a chick, but my money is on it being about MANDATORY DRUG FREE members. Is it still about sex, DRUGS, and rock and roll??? Don't people grow out of that? I don't know, but I do believe that I could just go out and play shows by myself. I can fake my way on a guitar, and my voice, well, speaks for itself, so I doubt that anyone would notice my mediocre playing ability.
I remember when this site first started, I remember where I was in my life. Getting ready to be a wife (barf), had a kick ass band, who I considered my brothers, who don't even talk to me anymore and who have seemed to either have disappeared off the face of the planet, or who just simply despise me for any number of reasons I can name (broke his heart the most probable) (or maybe he still thinks I'm a fucking junkie, even though I've been clean for almost 2 years). I just miss them. |
