We just found this in our e-mail. Sad Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the band, family and friends. - Mitch

This by far is the hardest email we have ever had to write and send out to our friends, family, & fans that haven’t been notified by us over the last couple weeks.

We are absolutely heartbroken to report that our friend, brother, and guitarist Chad Goklani was killed in an accident on Monday January 7, 2008.

Chad was truly a great person all around, both as a friend, brother, son, uncle, musician, and jokester as he had a true talent for making people laugh!

All of his friends & family are just in shock that Chad is no longer with us.

But, as his musical family, we decided to do what we know how to do, and that is music. Music has definitely helped the healing process the last several days, and we are putting on a Tribute/Memorial show in Chad's honor on Sat. Feb 2nd at The Ritz in Warren.
There are several bands helping out, and playing that night, including past members new bands.

Chad's band mates from Bulletproof Moxie and his old band Blind Shame are also performing a handful of songs in his honor, at some point in the night.

There is a $5 donation at the door, all going to his family.

We hope to see everyone out that night, as we honestly have no clue what the future holds for the band after this show.

We have started a Memorial page for the band on the Blind Shame MySpace page, and will also be posting pictures on the new band page as well.
