Michigan Bands Music and Entertainers FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Category: Main -> How Can I Get My Band Reviewed by MB?
| Answer | | · How can my band get reviewed? An honest review? That's a very good question. Here's some ideas...
- You could bribe the editor, but you'd never really know if he liked your stuff. If you paid him enough, however, he'd be willing to let you hate him for his opinions.
- You could approach some aspiring journalism student from a local college and have them submit it to MB.
- You could leave your cd's in some conspicuous, public place with detailed instructions on how to submit a review on MB and hope somebody actually follows through.
- You could ask a friend or family member to review your cd - but don't. They'll resent you for it and then you still can't be sure if it's honest.
- You could write it yourself, but don't do that either.
- You can send a CD to: Michiganbands.com, P.O. Box 930342, Wixom, MI 48393 - but we can't guarantee your CD will be reviewed. If we really like it, it may get reviewed thoroughly. If it's okay, it might get a paragraph and some song samples. If it sucks but we don't want to hurt your feelings, it'll probably get ignored. If that's the case, it's better that YOU submit news about your CD and let people decide for themselves.
