| Answer | · How do I submit news or an article?
Attention: We will no longer accept submissions or press releases from clubs, production or promotion companies, agencies or any for-profit promotion. Please refer to the Advertising Rates. All submissions, unless otherwise authorized by the editor, are for bands and musicians only.

To submit news you must first create an account. If you have already created an account, login with your username and password and you can submit news, articles, reviews, etc... Anonymous submissions will be discarded.
1. Click "Submit News" in the Main Menu in the top left corner of the HOME page.
2. Enter the Title of your article. Be descriptive and to the point.
3. Choose the Topic that most closely matches your story from the pull-down Topic menu. The editor reserves the right to change your topic as he sees fit.
4. Enter the Story Text. The story text is either a one-paragraph description of your article or the complete story if it's relatively short.
5. Enter "Extended Text" - Extended text is a continuation of your article from the front page. Readers will click "Read More" to access it. If your story or article is long - put the balance of the story in this text box.
6. Click the "Preview" button at the bottom of the page. You must preview your story at least once before you submit.
7. If everything checks out, click the "OK" button.
8. Your submission will go to the editor before it's posted. The Editor reserves the right to edit for grammar, content, clarity, accuracy or any other reason he deems necessary. You are strongly encouraged to include links, e-mail contacts or phone numbers for anyone wanting confirmation of stated facts in a news story. Facts that cannot be confirmed via links, phone numbers or e-mail will be edited out or discarded. Opinion pieces such as reviews and letters to the editor will only be edited for grammar and clarity.
9. If you don't know how to include the links, write a note to the editor in brackets "(NOTE TO EDITOR)" at the bottom of your story text and include any special instructions or comments.
NOTE: You can use html tags to format your story, just be sure to check your links and formatting when you preview. Include "(NOTE TO EDITOR)" at the beginning of your story text if you need help including pictures, links or any other special instructions.
