| Description: | New Music Detroit, the avant guard music group, is playing a 12 hour marathon of new classical music today, Saturday, September 6th, at MoCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit) starting at noon. Amazing music, great musicians, and some of the composers themselves have flown in for the event. Come check out this mind expanding music! $12 for a day pass and $8 after 8:00 pm (Woodward, 3 blocks south of Warren Ave.) Long time Detroit rocker Liz Larin will be joining the group for two pieces, one by John Zorn called Cobra, on improvised vocals and visuals.
