Detroit Country fried rockers The Orbitsuns host “Gas Crunch Weekend” on Saturday, May 31 at The New Dodge Lounge in Hamtramck, Michigan. Doors are at 9 pm, and ages 21 and over are welcome. The Orbitsuns perform live with special guests Bixy Lutz opening the show.
Because of the painful prices at the pump, The Orbitsuns and The New Dodge are making “Gas Crunch Weekend's” cover only $4 - cheaper then a gallon of gas! The New Dodge's grill will also be fired up - cooking the “best burger in town!” Additionally, as part of this low dough show, advance copies of The Orbitsuns' long awaited live CD “The Orbitsuns Vs. The Bottle” will also be available for sale.
The Orbitsuns are a honky-tonk hybrid of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Elvis with a twist of Detroit Rock City and sly humor. Hot off a scorching set at the Downtown Hoe Down, the Orbitsuns are now touring in support of their new CD “Redneck Disco. The Orbitsuns have shared stages with numerous country luminaries including David Allen Coe, Blake Shelton, Trisha Yearwood and Sawyer Brown
