DCK was formed in 2005 by well known Detroit bass player Ron Cooke,Young Guitar Wiz J.B.Sweet,and veteran drummer Mike Schneider.Vocalist Tom Howie was added to the line-up at a later date.The band gained a reputation for perfoming Loud,Driving,Entertaining Original Rock N Roll Shows.In 2007 The Band Performed a well-received show at L.A.’s House Of Blues.It was at this time that the band discovered a local L.A. band also called the Culture Killers,thus Detroit was added to the name.After returning from L.A.,J.B.,Mike,& Tommy realized a change was in order,and they replaced Ron Cooke with Bassist Wayne Small.The band released their debut C.D. in December and continues to play local venues across the midwest.
How's the band, Wayno? I haven't forgot about DCK!!! Since we last talked, the bar moved to Brush & Gratiot (downtown). We are scheduled to open March 14th. Come on down and check out the bar on St. Patty's day. We're gonna blow it out. Maybe we'll even discuss when DCK can make there Detroit Pub debut.........
