Carl Henry has been an entertainer for over 20 years in the Metro Detroit area, and is a songwriter, guitar, and Dobro and guitar player. Nominated in 2004 for best blues instrumentalist in the Detroit Music Awards, winner of the 2005 Detroit International Blues Challenge in the solo/duo category, Carl always puts on a good show, no matter how large or small the croud or venue may be. Carl plays everything from Johnny Cash to Johnny Winter, along with his own original material. He prides himself on playing what he calls "American Music" because his roots lie in the traditional music that is America, be it called Folk, Country, Rock, or Blues.....He isn't into labels.
