| About Higher Ground |
Higher Ground is an acoustic band that fuzes folk, rock, and all out jam. They call Traverse City, Micigan home, and are currently playing the local scene in TC. Although the band consists of members of old bands such as “Salmon of the Brook” and “The Straw Hat Pirates”, they come together as Higher Ground to create one thing: Feel good music. The band found themselves jamming out at many summer campfires full of singing, drinking and being merry. After endless begging from friends, Reese, Jon, Shane, and Jack finally came together and created a completely organic sound that they now call their own.
The band would like to thank all their friends and family for their support. They are in the process of completing their first demo CD which should be out by February of ’06.
