David Nefesh
Description: Folk-rocker Nefesh burst into the Detroit area music scene in 1999 and has written well over 100 songs and has released two CD's since that time. His last release, Pureheart (2006), was nominated for "Outstanding Recording" (folk/acoustic) by members of the Detroit Music Awards. His songs are an example of folk-rock at its best: Pop and rock influences with a largely acoustic base and a universal message that appeals to anyone interested in love, loss, pain, joy, paradox, and living Real. Not to mention his strong emotion-laden voice, catchy melodic style, literate lyrics, and polished guitar playing. His 3rd CD is expected in 2009. He has performed regionally in midwestern USA and Canada, and his music has been heard on the radio from North America to Eastern Europe.
