The Double D Blues Band
Description: About The Double D Blues Band
The Double D Blues Band has been playing together for about 6 years now and we consist of 2 guitar players with over 30 years experience each playing the guitar. We record all of our back up music like bass and drums and up load them to a laptop which we then pump thru the P.A. and jam to it. We have been told that we sound full, like a 4-5 piece band. Jim (The Reverend Jimmy D) plays the guitar and does back up vocals and well as being sound man and recording engineer on all of the back up tracks. Brian( Big Dadddy) Dimick plays guitar, bass, harp with a rack and sings. We both previously played in a 5 peice variety band for about 15 years before taking a break from music and forming a duo as The Double D Blues Band. We both have been blues fans all of our life so it was easy to get back together as a duo and start practicing. We are also both members of the Detroit Blues Society. Groucho the parrot adds his support.
