Garden of Souls Description: Garden of Souls wants to help bring the art of music back . . .
GOS started as a concept to bring the idea of passion back into music without compromising the musical vision of the band. The vision was simple . . . to write good songs. Deep, meaningful, thoughtful lyrics and melodies over lush musical landscapes. The members of Garden of Souls have diverse musical backgrounds and tastes and they all find their way into the music, which is the main reason why every GOS song is unique in it's own right. The idea of having 'hooks' within the songs while still maintaining an artrock mentality on a musical level has been done before . . . and when it has been done the right way, it provides an overwhelming sense of timelessness. This is the goal of the band; to make thoughtful, passionate music that is as fresh and poignant now as it would have been 10 years ago or 10 years from now. The band plans on striving to achieve this goal for many years . . .

The Holy Fire Description: Formed in early 2004, the Holy Fire played their first show opening for TV on the Radio and haven't stopped since. They use a jangling, spacey, twin guitar attack over Bohnam-by-way-of-Jimmy Chamberlain drumming and walk a line between balls out post-rock and singer/songwriter, lyricism. One of those bands that take small pieces of much of the past three decades' great music, get high on it, and come up with something entirely unique.
In 2004 they began recording a full length album with Michael Ivins of the Flaming Lips. Major and indie interest abound, they remain unsigned and mildly neurotic.

BLIND SHAME Description: BLIND SHAME is a young, High-Energy Modern-Rock band based in the Detroit area. Formed in late 1999, and having been playing shows constantly since 2000, BLIND SHAME is a versatile band- able to play fully electric shows, stripped-down acoustic shows, or anything in between. Comparisons to Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, U2, & Jimmy Eat World would only be partially accurate, as BLIND SHAME has created their own unique sound appealing to the dedicated indie-band listener as well as the casual concert-goer.
Their female drummer creates the backbone of their sound by painting an energetic, upbeat landscape for which the guitarists can lay down an incredible, edgy sonic wall and confidently lead through catchy hooks and changes. But it doesn’t stop there! Blind Shame’s front man takes those well-crafted songs and belts them out with sincerity & might- leading the band (and its fans) to new heights every time they’re on stage. Cleverly written lyrics that pump energy in every fiber of your bean, warm your heart, or tickle your funny bone, easily avoid the pretentious paths common with a lot of bands today. Every song is carefully crafted and crackles with energy during any live performance, and you just may find yourself singing and clapping along by mid-song.
