Project Vector
Description: You could call it "progressive techno rock" or "thinking man's rock with a dose of techno/industrial," but whatever you call it, PV embraces the true meaning of "progressive," exploring new sounds and not just revisiting the past. Infectious, techno-flavored grooves meet aggressive bass guitar parts and interweaving guitar lines, topped off by honest, impassioned vocals exploring personal and sometimes controversial subjects. See website for MP3s and more info.

Mathew Kennedy, formerly of the renowned progressive band "Discipline", plays the bass. Guitarist Alan Rutter was one-third of the LA-based neo-prog trio RCA Project. And the backbone of Eyestrings, drummer Bob Young, was a founding member of the Detroit-area band "Own."

Space Nelson
Description: Space Nelson's unique sound has been best described as "melodic hard rock with a progressive edge."  The Detroit four piece, which likes to explore the boundaries of syncopation and timing, delivers driving rhythms and catchy hooks with skill and emotion. Space Nelson consists of founding members John Piasentin on guitar/vocals and Eric Fischer on drums.  Space Nelson is taking rock music to another level - this is definitely a band that you will remember.
