Link Profile: Drew 32 Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Drew 32 started rapping at age 9 after hearing songs on the radio by Lil' Bow Wow. He got the name Drew 32 after his first basketball number, 32, and his name, Andrew.
He's Greek, plays basketball, and raps. His first song was made when he was 10 in January of 2001 about the terrorist acts on 9/11. The song was called "Pray for Peace (We Need Love). It was recorded at MPA Studios in Canton, Michigan by Terry Simaan. The song didn't make any profits, because it was never put out in stores or put on the radio.
Drew stopped rapping for a while, but still listened to the music. But, after getting ACID Music Studio 5.0 when he was 12, he got back into it. Drew made plenty of songs, but the quality was nowhere near professional because of his microphone. Drew bought a $99 dollar microphone at 13 years old and went back to work... this time not in the creation process, but in the rerecording process. He also got an Alesis Multimix12USB Mixer and started recording and rerecording his songs. He also went back to MPA Studios and recorded 2 songs produced by Terry Simaan. They were the songs "Get Up" and "Come 2 Conquer". Drew made the beat for Come to Conquer.
Drew, now at age 14, has since then made songs with Young Poet, a rapper that attends the same school as him, and recently performed them at Avondale Highschool, where the "Enayalatas" got a great response. Drew is on a mission to finish an album and make it available online and in stores.
Right now he's getting his album mixed w/ Asar and will soon have it finished by late 2006 and hopefully available by 2006/2007
