The Holy Fire
Description: Formed in early 2004, the Holy Fire played their first show opening for TV on the Radio and haven't stopped since. They use a jangling, spacey, twin guitar attack over Bohnam-by-way-of-Jimmy Chamberlain drumming and walk a line between balls out post-rock and singer/songwriter, lyricism. One of those bands that take small pieces of much of the past three decades' great music, get high on it, and come up with something entirely unique.
In 2004 they began recording a full length album with Michael Ivins of the Flaming Lips. Major and indie interest abound, they remain unsigned and mildly neurotic.

The Cure, Audioslave, and Spanish bands like Lucybell and La Ley, Subatomico experiments boldly within the Latin Alternative sound. Based out of Chicago, Subatomico thinks outside the box and creates music that transends language barriers. As the members often say, "it's all about the music!"
