Merge is a new rock band serving the metro Detroit area.
Most recently, the band performed September 2004 at the Richmond Good Ole Days festival. The band in various forms has played Richmond for the past 7 years.
Formerly known as Opie's Dream, the founding members of Merge are bassist/vocalist
Pete Costantino, drummer/vocalist Rick Hren, and keyboardist/vocalist
Bruce Karry. More recent additions to the group are lead vocalist Lisa
Porter, guitarist/vocalist Michael Galvan, and guitarist/bassist Tom
Steger.
The group features music from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's as well as current material. A songlist and a major update to the band website are scheduled for late September 2004."
