"After the departure of John from the band, the three of us have decided to call it a day for Forge. We (Aaron, Greg, John & Steve) will be playing our final show at a venue and date to be announced. Fans and friends and people who know us are used to the idea of us soldiering on through all setbacks and shake ups. This time it’s different. With absolutely no disrespect to any former member of the band, in my mind, the 4 of us were the definitive and final version of Forge. The idea of replacing any member at this point and carrying on in the same direction is just unacceptable."
"So, keep your eyes and ears open for something new, sometime in the near future. A new band, a new focus, a new direction. At this point it’s too early to get into specifics and personnel, but I’m extremely excited for the potential of this thing, and that’s saying a lot, cause Forge was my life. For this future project, we won’t rush it, and you won’t hear a note or see our gear on stage until we’re sure the Rock is solid and the music speaks for itself. Loudly."
