Local Duo to open for Bill Bruford's Earthworks at The Magic Bag
JIBILIAN/GLASS Opening for Bill Bruford's Earthworks!
N/S Stick virtuoso Gary Jibilian and drummer Todd Glass of Jibilian/Glass will be opening for prog-rock veteran Bill Bruford at the Magic Bag in Ferndale Friday, June 1st.
Bruford, one of the most respected drummers in the music business, who's been a member of such notable bands as Yes and King Crimson, is currently on tour with his solo project Earthworks. Bruford's also done extensive work with Stick-maestro Tony Levin which makes the opening for Jibilian all the more attractive.
"We're extremely excited/freaked/scared/numb about this gig," said Jibilian in a recent e-mail. "(His fans) are our target audience from our hometown, so to us, that's just as huge as opening for Bruford."
Jibilian/Glass is currently in the process of recording their debut CD, "GALAXY RODEO," which should be available by May. To get an idea of what JIBILIAN/GLASS sound like, listen to the .mp3 sound clips at
