| Moreland's USA 18th Annual Battle Of the Bands Award Ceremony |

narrow7 writes Over this years Labor Day weekend, Moreland's USA in Stanton, Michigan held their 18th Annual "Battle of the Bands" or as they call it "Woodstock of the North". The Awards Ceremonies will be held on September 19th, at 7:00 PM at The Cactus Juice Lounge (formerly Club Hot Shot, corner of East and Cedar St.), 3323 N East St, Lansing, MI. Click
"Read More" for details and directions.The four day competition included 36 Michigan bands that came from areas ranging from Muskegon to Romeo to Jackson.
During the competition 4 independent judges rated the acts on performance, material, and crowd response selected the top 10 bands. The top 10 acts will receive Cash, Certificates and Trophies ranging from 1st place; $1000 plus 10 hours studio time to 10th place; $50. Several of the top 10 bands will be accepting their awards and performing at this event.
So come out and show your support for the Michigan Music Scene and check out the top ten bands from the year's event!
