I was at work when the tragedy struck. We were in the process of moving our office when I got a call from my wife, who told me a passenger airliner had just run into The World Trade Center. She was describing it as a terrible accident on the phone when the second plane hit the other tower. It felt as if a dark cloud had moved overhead as we both realized - this was no accident.

I continued to work, following the news as closely as I could by radio and speculating on and off with co-workers. When my wife called back and told me they'd just hit The Pentagon, my boss ordered me to purchase a television for the office. Who knew when or if the atttacks would stop? - Mitch
