romeoredneck writes

This is a biker charity event that Radiocraft is honored to be a part of - another well organized KAZ MAMON charity ride and JAM CAMP FESTIVAL. Participation in this event will help fund the education of children throughout Michigan whose lives have been affected by domestic violence. All bikers welcome to camp on the 40+ acre grounds & enjoy the festivities which are too numerous to list here. Click Read More to find out about the Mamon Ride, get a link to the Mamon Ride site and see the impressive list of other top-flight local acts that will be performing there.

Why do a Mamon Ride?

We think about medically taking care of kids when they are sick, but what about their education while hospitalized?

Four years ago, Kaz visited a friend's child who was in Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. On his way out, he noticed the pictures and drawings on the walls. This induced him to stop and say, "Hey what about the kids education while they are in the hospital?" So after six weeks he organized his first ride and had 703 bikes show up. Together they raised $15,500 to help the kids continue their education, and to help keep their minds off their illness.

Several rides have spun off from that first ride. So far: 5 annual Mamon's Rides, 3 Halloween Rides, one Easter Ride, and Last year's special visit from SANTA at the Whaley House in Flint by Mamon.

We have had over 4500 people riding with us, we've helped 22 hospitals and raised over $133,000 in cash and have distributed 480 computers (valued at $250,000) donated by EDS and GM to 22 hospitals throughout Michigan and Ohio.

Here is a list of the bands that will be performing at the Jam Camp Festival.
