 You know you aren't safe from our Random Acts of Music out on the streets, but I bet you never thought you'd get hassled at work. Well, you're wrong! And to prove it, meet our latest victim who got nailed while complaining about the stupid, commercial radio station at his job that plays the same songs over and over again. Meet "Stylist Steve" . . . |
Needing my locks trimmed to escape the oppressive summer heat, I headed into Super Cuts in Wixom, MI where I found Stylist Steve complaining about the heavy rotation of a particularly
annoying "hit". I took that as my cue to accost him with Michiganbands.com propaganda and the virtues of discovering local indie music for himself.
After Steve trimmed, clipped and coifed my "do" I turned him on to FULL's "Part of Religion" EP to satisfy his craving for unusual and colorful dance music. Enjoy the CD Steve. And remember - 'the best indie music grows right in your own back yard.'
Oh, and thanks for the great haircut; My daughter says I look like a giraffe!
