| Submitting Letters To The Editor |

Okay. So you need a place to vent your frustrations about the music scene because the Detroitmusic.com board just isn't enough for you. Well, this is the place to take it out on our editor.
You can spout off about anything you want here; stories, bands, venues, whatever. But, in keeping with general newspaper policies, you will not be allowed to do it anonymously. You must first become a Michiganbands.com member. As with all other submissions, anonymous letters to the editor will be discarded - no matter how compelling.
Click on "Read More" if you need help submitting.
-Mitch- Once you've become a member, login to the site and click on "Submit News" on the Home page under the Main Menu in the upper left hand corner.
- Type your title in the Title field, and in the beginning of the story textfield write "(LETTER TO EDITOR)" in capital letters so I know where to put it.
- Type or paste your letter into the Story Text field after where you wrotte (LETTER TO EDITOR). When you're done, click thePreview button at the bottom. This wll take you to another page that shows you the layout of your letter first, and below that allows you to edit the letter if you like.
- If everything looks good after you've previewed the letter, choose "submit" from the dropdown menu and click the "OK" button. That's it. If you have any further questions, check out our FAQ for submitting news.
- You don't have to sign your real name if you don't want to; your screen name wil automatically be attached to the story.
