I first heard about this band from my homeboy, DD, who's Facebook friend is the mother of one of the players. Usually that kind of referral is an underwhelming dissappointment. Not this time. A Hero Falls (a name derived from a video/score by John Williams for Episode III of Star Wars) is another very slick, female-fronted alt-rock band (lotta that goin' around these days e.g. 34 Bliss) from Howell, MI. Things are happening locally for this band. After hitting the road running (Hayloft, Crofoot, Mac's Bar, Bullfrog) including several rounds of BOTBs, A Hero Falls released their EP "Stable Ground" at The Howell Opera House last June, They've been covered in The Livingston Daily and they just completed an interview with Impact 88.9 FM (East Lansing) for their show The Basement (which you can view here). Now they're the number one requested band on Radio Opie's People's Choice Countdown. And for good reason; they've set a high bar for anyone who wants to knock them out of that spot. A Hero Falls is a band to watch. MB welcomes A Hero Falls to our Original Artists / Alternative category. - Mitch
