Name the last time that you saw the same artists capture all ten of the top
ten positions on any song chart? Ron Silverlight has done just that!
In reality Ron has numbers 1 through 14 of the top 100 mp3 songs from Michigan
on the charts at mp3.com. Ron is a self proclaimed "One Man Band" from South Haven and was previously unknown to Michiganbands.com. He tells us that he doesn't specialize in one genre of music, but several genres. This is evident from the impressive list of 34 tunes that are on Ron's MP3.com page with songs ranging in a wide
variety of pop styles . Ron also says, "I do not consider myself a singer --- and even LESS of a lyricist -- but one does what one has to do when
you do it all yourself."
Ron recently won a competition on HitSquad.com.
The contest was sponsored by Musicians Friend and offered a $3,000.00 Grand
Prize. Ron took the prize and from the sound of it put the money to good
use in gear.
It's pretty obvious from listening to Ron Silverlight's music, that he it not
afraid to give people what they want. His tunes are catchy, friendly, danceable
and simple to follow. The stuff is just fun.
I'm sure that Ron would appreciate a few downloads. Remember that
MP3.com is one of the sites actually paying artists listed on their site.
Rest assured that we will ask Ron to share some secrets with us in the near
