City of Wixom Hosts Teen Battle Of The Bands Today

Wixom Battle Of Teen Bands The City of Wixom Parks & Recreation Dept. will host a teen battle of the bands at 5 p.m. this evening (Friday 9.19.08) at Sibley Sqaure park located in the new downtown area. Teen bands will battle head to head for up to 30 minutes each in front of a panel of "distinguished judges." They'll be judged on professionalism, timeliness, quality of set, energy and their "Ready To Rock" look. Concessions will be available stage-side but attendees are encouraged to check out Wixom's new stores and restaurants. Lawn chairs or blankets are welcome and be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
