 Mod Ev Rocks Hog Heaven
You couldn't have picked a better band than Mod Ev to rock a bevy of bikers at the Harley Fest 2001 at Freedom Hill. Mod(ern) Ev(olution) is the missing link between thrash and good 'ole ass-kickin', dope smokin', beer guzzlin', drive your Harley into a gravel-train Rock 'n Roll.
Mod Ev Rocks Hog Heaven

6-23-01

With ear-shattering volume and a heart-stopping bottom end, Mod Ev pumped their high-octane Rock into a crowd of black leather and bandana-clad bikers who "got off " on the gutteral thump of their music. Like the baffled rumble of a "hog" in heat, their "hard-as-an-Iron Horse" sound was wildly appreciated by a crowd who attracted more fringe than a Michigan Militia family reunion. Mod Ev is pure sex and whiskey with no apologies.

Among the vested biker babes in extreme cut-off blue jean shorts and the bearded, boot-wearin', pony-tailed hippies of old, was a leather-clad A & R rep from Geffen Records who was sniffin' for a cache.

Though Mod Ev teased the color-clad crowd with a version of "Born To Be Wild," the band really hit their stride with their closer, "He Said" a cut from their latest release "XTC."

If you go see Mod Ev, bring your hog. You'll thank me later.
