It's unfortunate many bands don't update their Michiganbands.com pages more often. You never know when some schmuck with a keyboard and a title (e.g. "Editor") will visit the Homepage and click on the "Random Artist" button only to find out a band didn't post their best material. But fair is fair in Random Reviews. Come to find out "War is Pollution", but pollution is just discarded crap that nobody wants.Band - Overthrow

"War is Pollution" is actually the worst song I've ever heard from Overthrow. Not only is the melody flat and uninteresting, but "War is Pollution" chokes on dead cliche's and linear drum fills that betray their years of heavy-metal experience.
I happen to know from my association with Extreme Digital Audio,(where the band has recorded some of their finest moments) that Overthrow have and are doing much better material than this. After several years and as many line-up changes,the band has finally come into it's own (though you wouldn't know it from this track), writing material that is as heavy as it is interesting. Until they get their very own page from Michiganbands.com, you'd better visit their website for a better taste. Click HERE for non-polluted Overthrow.
