 End of the Year Bash!
sonicdisturbance writes Sonic Disturbance will be performing live with The Impaler and Push Button Fun on Thursday, December 29th at The Double "O" pub in Redford. Hear uplifting, organic synth-sounds performed live over straight-ahead dance, break-beat, indie-trance-industrial music. But that's not all. Add Goth, Techno, House, D & B, Ambient & Experimental Noize and you've got a night where virtually anything can happen and probably will. Don't miss this show. Click "read more" for details. So Why Play the Double OO?
1: No Cover
2: Gas Money Guaranteed
3: No Pre-Sale Tickets / Lose Money
4: No Sound Man Fees
5: Free Drinks For Performers
6: Cheap Drinks for your Guests

Yeah, the place is a dive, and you have to submit you own listing to the Metro Times or Real Detroit or whomever else, but the place is trying to be a venue for Live Music on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Tuesday Nights are Open Jams and sometimes you walk in and play, other times there is a line of players out the door, so it is hit or miss.

Saturdays are booked by Mike (who also bartends a few nights a week) so you have to contact him for openings.

Thursdays feature The Impaler on 2nd and 4th Thursdays and Sonic Disturbance on 1st and 3rd Thursdays. I am looking for Live Acts to Special Guest on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays. I Guarantee Gas Money around $50.00 for Acts who play, and you don’t have to worry about drawing a crowd or selling tickets, just tell your friends and attempt to promote the show. Hell just show up on time, don’t be a jerk, and don’t blow the doors off the place if it is empty and things will work out fine.

So why play the Double OO? If items 1 through 6 don’t get it for you, then I have no other way to convince you. If you want to play contact:
