CyberTrybe is back at it again!
tabooda writes CyberTrybe is back together after 5 years of being apart. Back in November of 2001 CyberTrybe played their last show together at the Emerald Theater and then went their separate ways. Sean Mooer (Front man, guitarist) and Sid Hodge (Drummer) were both activated and were sent over seas for Operation Enduring Freedom. Bryant Bedwell (Keyboardist and guitarist) carried the CT name for a while as a solo project and also played with N2 Submission and The Impaler. Paul Biondi (bassist) was also called over seas. Click "read more" below.

During this time, the CD “Trust in Myths” had grown in popularity in other countries to the point where it was being illegally copied and resold on the net. Time after time, tunes from the CD were being found on personal websites and blogs throughout the world.

Sean Mooer later joined Feed the Kitty with wife Angela Mooer, a cover band with a new twist of remaking covers into a more modern sound. They soon got in contact with Bryant Bedwell who later came to the band as a keyboardist. Feed the Kitty went through numerous musicians but none ever seemed to make the cut. This period of time was used to develop better playing skills and learning other playing styles.

Along the way, Sean and Bryant kept hinting of a CT “reunion show” but for the most part, it stayed on the back burner until one night Sean was going through a bunch of unfinished CT music. Angela Mooer, while listening basically made a decision to push Sean and Bryant to spark up CT again and work on both CT and Feed the Kitty (FTK). FTK had just lost yet another drummer and bassist and felt they’d had enough so work began on relearning the old CT tunes again. Auditions were held for a drummer and bassist and out of no where Don and Mike Yagiela, two brothers that had never been in a band together came out of the wood work. Don had also been on a hiatus from playing and Mike was in a metal band that wasn’t going anywhere. Don had played with Mitch Ryder and Aretha Franklin and was also signed with Miller Genuine Draft. CT and FTK could not have been luckier than when these two walked in their door.

A month and a half later, they went out and played a test gig at the Hayloft with a mix of CT and FTK tunes. It was a success. The crowd was a lot bigger than the band had anticipated and the reaction was just as surprising. CT and FTK have been playing small shows with a mix of the two bands since then.

CT will be played for the first time in 5 years as “itself” at TNT’s. headlining the Pimps Up Hoes Down party with FTK opening up for them. (FTK playing as “itself” as well)

Both CT and FTK will also be going back into the studio to record some brand new tracks this coming spring. (First FTK original tracks ever)

The two bands will remain separate but will most likely play some of the same gigs.

CT wants to thank all the old fans for sticking around and waiting. They also want to thank all the new fans that have been made in the last few months.
