| Magic Kompa Offers Something Truly Unique In Michigan |

 MagicKompa.com: In 2002, The idea to create, for the first time in Michigan, a Haitian Kompa band came from Gaston Cherichel (Tiga). In 2003, Robenson Cherichel (Son'n) who was also dreaming of creating a kompa band that could entertain the public's passion for Caribbean music, joined Gaston to continue with the group which is call " MAGICKOMPA ". Magic is the only kompa band in the State of Michigan. Click "read more" below to learn more. The group's first appearance in 2003 at the Pheonix night club in Grand Rapids was a huge sucess. Fans from Lansing, Detroit and Grand Rapids knew then that Magic was destined to be among the greatest in the world of kompa music.
Live on stage, magic electrifies the crowd with 6 musicians. The voice of Captain Mike , the magic touch of; Patrick Bonhomme on lead keyboard and Donald Talleyr, and the spicy groove of Donald Moridon on the lead guitar, the great vibe of Pitchi, Brutcher P. Chateau the greatest drummer and background vocal, Son'n back ground vocals. Tiga is the band's sound engineer & also the bass player and Almando Bermudes plays saxophone.
Magic Kompa is currently selling their live album at shows and is curently working on the first studio release.
