MOLLY JEAN DEBUT CD RELEASE AND BIRTHDAY PARTY
Singer-songwriter Molly Jean is the newest musical ingénue from Stirling Management. This young, multi-talented artist will be releasing her debut CD “Valley of the Doll’s House” at a combination CD Release and 20th Birthday party at 313.jac on Friday, October 28th. Click "read more" below for all the party and record details.

"Valley Of The Doll House" was recorded and produced by Matt Smith of Outrageous Cherry/The Volebeats fame. It features a plethora of guest performances by Detroit rock alumni including Smith, Mark Fellis-drummer of The Go, Eddie Baranek of The Sights, Augie and Korin of The Hard Lessons and country chanteuse, Loretta Lucas guesting on songs.

The many faceted Molly Jean combines 6 distinct styles of music on her first release. Song styles range from 60’s girl group rock to an MC5 inspired jam, indie rock, Beatlesque pop to traditional and contemporary Americana Folk. This industrious 19 year old twists all her musical inspirations into one album.

Molly Jean will be performing at midnight with guest musicians Eugene Strobe and Matt Smith accompanying her. It will also be a birthday celebration as Molly Jean turns 20 that evening. She will be spinning her favorite tunes before and after her set.

“Valley of the Doll’s House” will be available for sale for the first time for a special price of $10. It can then be found at all indie record stores in the metro Detroit area and online thru CDBaby.com.

The release party will be held on Friday, October 28th doors are at 9pm at 313.jac located upstairs at Jacoby’s, 624 Brush St. in Detroit. Please call 313-962-7067 for directions. 21 and over are welcome with a $5 cover. For online information on MollyJean, check out her web page at http://myspace.com/mollyjean3
