Blind Shame nominated for 3 Detroit Music Awards
blindshame2003 writes
Detroit, MI – The 2005 Detroit Music Awards aims to be the biggest show in the history of the foundation. Taking place on April 20th at Detroit’s State Theater, the DMA’s also represent the kickoff of the first-ever Motor City Music Conference, a 5-day event featuring music panels, interactive events, and live music showcases.

With all of the hoopla surrounding the event, and heavy media coverage to be a guaranteed certainty, Blind Shame is proud to announce that they are nominated for 3 DMA’s:

Outstanding Rock Artist/Group
Outstanding Rock/Pop Recording “All N Compass”
Outstanding Rock/Pop Vocalist-Shane DouglasThe band would like to ask for your the help and support. Anyone involved in the Detroit music scene or music arena in any professional capacity is eligible to vote for the DMA’s. This includes Bands/Working Musicians; Booking Agents; Talent buyers; Club Managers; Sound Techs; Media Reps; Photographers; Webmasters; Radio DJ's; Artist Managers; Publicists; Music Teachers; etc.

Note: Friends, fans, and family members are not eligible to vote however, unless they are also professionally involved in the Detroit music scene.

Log onto www.detroitmusicawards.com to cast your vote today. Deadline is April 4th.

Blind Shame would like to thank everyone who voted for us during the DMA nomination process. Your votes are very important now in the final stage of voting, and we would greatly appreciate your consideration in voting for Blind Shame.

The band will be in attendance at the awards show on April 20. We hope to see a lot of familiar faces out there supporting the Detroit music scene and supporting all the bands who have worked hard to be a DMA nominee.

Their next performance is at Alvin's on Sat. April 30th with Down the Line from Chicago. All Ages welcome.
