PINWHEEL writes I was the drummer TANGENT (with the great PARKER). I had a new calling for my gift and have put together a Christian rock band with an edge. Only problem is, we need a bass and keyboard player to round out the line-up. We have practice space, radio contacts, and a ton of gigs when we are ready. I know that this site does't do a lot with "JESUS" type music, but I also know when you are looking for great musicians this is the place to go. Call me @ 1-248-399-3692. or e-mail tmcintosh0230@wideopenwest.comThanks and, of course, GOD BLESS, Brian

| These Librarians Are Hip to Indie Music |
|
Submitted by Christine Ayar,
You'd love to have more people hear your music. You're trying to reach a broader audience. You want to advertise, but don't have a lot of cash. Sound familiar?
The Salem-South Lyon District Library is reaching out to area musicians. The library is building a Local Artists Music Collection and is asking musicians in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Ontario to join.
Bands are asked to donate their CDs as well as promotional items to the library. In return, the library will make the items available for patrons to check out. A new musician will be highlighted each week and a concert series is being discussed.
