Rock band New Standard is now in the hunt for a lead singer. We are looking for someone whos passionate about music and is dedicated to improvement. Gigs are already set for this summer and more are coming in daily. Studio time is also in the works for this spring. My brother recently asked me to help raise funds for
the leukemia/lymphoma society for their anual
fundraiser. He is participating in a triathalon and
has asked me to do a benefit show. I was hoping to
have a fundraiser Fri. April 9. I know this is short
notice but I just got the request myself. I am
wondering if any bands would be interested in playing
for drinks that night. All door proceeds and 10% of
my sales will be donated to the leukemia/lymphoma
society. If any of you have that night free and want
to play for a good cause please get back to me at this

Hell, Michigan's None Of The Above released a brand new two track single on 2/17. The title track, "Godsend", is ass kicking hard rock that shows the more radio friendly side of the band, while the B side is heavier material suitable for specialty programs. The material was recorded at Sonic Landscapes Recording Studios, downtown Jackson MI in sessions last fall and is part of a batch of tracks from which the group will complie for an album release later this year.
