 Pink Floyd Tribute Band seeks replacement drummer

Echoes of Pink Floyd Need DrummerEchoes of Pink Floyd is in need of a replacement drummer.
We have been bringing the most authentic Pink Floyd recreations to the Midwest since 2003 and need that special someone on the drum throne that can carry us forward into the coming years.

Seeking 25-40 years old
Passion for the music of Pink Floyd (all eras) is foremost as a requirement
Dependability is crucial
Practice is fairly consistent on Sundays in the mid-MI area
High self drive/motivation to learn the material on your own ASAP
Long term desire to perform in a show like this (and not for the money)

 Michigan Bands Join Two-Time Grammy Winner Ozomatli & Modest Mouse in New Movie

Sometimes in Life, the new Michigan-made, independent feature from ValloNicka Films, premieres Friday, June 27, at The Scarab Club in Detroit as an official selection for the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival. The film features music from two-time Grammy winner Ozomatli, Modest Mouse, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Presley, Anilore as well as made-in-Michigan artsts Amp Fiddler, Jamie McCarthy, Cetan Clawson, Bedford Drive, Mindizade and The Bloids.

Sometimes in Life is the story of an unusual and unlikely friendship between two people whose lives are stuck in a rut. Jill is a young fashion designer who suspects that her lesbian girlfriend is cheating on her while Rob mourns the loss of his father.

The film stars Sara Stepnicka as Jill, Eric Morrison as Rob, Gunhild Giil as Jill’s lesbian girlfriend and Jon E. Livernois as Eric’s straight roommate. Wayne David-Parker, Angela Roberts, Emily Rose, Ethan Helmann-Scherrer, Carol Pierangelino and Sharon Emigh complete the cast.

 The Next Great American Country Star Competition

The GAC TV search for "The Next Great American Country Star" is on!  A head to head online competition started May 23rd and continues through July 21st on MusicNation.com.  The contest is just wrapping up it's second of eight weeks.  My song, "Own Woman Again", was accepted for the competition and just posted to the contest. Hope you can join the fun and help select "The Next Great American Country Star" from the great music entered in the competition. Finalists will be on the show on GAC TV.

 Annual Michigan Artists Holiday Event and Benefit

 Flophouse To Play Clapton's Crossroads Festival
flophouse writes FLOPHOUSE has just been added on to Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival at Toyota Park in Chicago, IL on Saturday, July 28th. This is the real deal folks. The band has been hand-selected as the Featured Guitar Center winner of Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands contest. The band just got the call from Brian Ball himself and Flophouse will be opening the show! If anyone is interested in attending the Crossroads Festival in Chicago, I know that it is "Sold out" but there are still a TON of tickets circulating on eBay for almost face value ($100). We'd love to see you all there!!
