(PRWEB) -- Jackie Blue, a rock band based in Detroit and well
known for their community work, has partnered with CDBaby.com and the American
Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. All profits from the sale of our
CDs purchased through CDBaby.com
will go to the American Red Cross.
Tom Libertiny, Jackie Blue's bass player and a native of Florida, understands
all too well what the people are going through--from the first hit of Katrina in
Florida to the devastation along the coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, and
Alabama. "Growing up in Florida, I was aware of the damage caused by hurricanes
especially by the flooding water, but I've never seen anything like what we're
now witnessing."

| Jay Hussle to Release Debut: Man of My Word |
|
We just received a music review of Jay Hussle's "Man of My Word", the Pontiac native's debut to be released later this fall. True, the review was submitted by his promotion people (then posted on his webpage as our review - a tactic we've seen before), but if you've ever submitted a CD to us, you know how hard it is to get your music reviewed in a timely manner (a'hem). So we think it's worth bringing this artist to your attention now, based soley on the three songs on Hussle's MySpace page. Sh*t's tight. Click "read more" for Jay's bio (filched from his homepage, edited, and made our own) and a link to hear his beats. - Mitch
