If you read Rachael May's column in The Free Press last week, you already know that Detroit Public Television will be airing Rock & Roll Safari, a weekly hour-long show that will feature live concert footage and interviews of Detroit area bands in the coming weeks. The series was created by James McGovern and Greg Sharrow of Can You Hear Me TV who hope to "redefine the method to which breakout musical genius makes its way to the eyes and ears of mainstream entertainment." | Michigan Legislature Bans Imposter Groups |

The Michgan legislature has passed a bill designed to prevent imposter musical groups from profiting from famous names of the past, according to MichiganVotes.com. Introduced by Senator Martha G. Scott (D-Highland Park), Senate Bill 1125 amends the Michigan Consumer Protection Act to prohibit imposter groups from performing as established musical groups when there are no original members performing on stage. GRAND RAPIDS, MI--FLEDfive has once again been selected to appear on this year's WGRD Bootleg CD, whose net profits will benefit Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids. The track, "Good Man Gone Bad," is the latest single from FLEDfive's fourth and most recent CD, which is self-titled.
WGRD releases a Bootleg CD every year during the holiday season, featuring in-studio performances and rare tracks from today's hottest hard rock acts. The CD is currently available for purchase at any Meijer location for $9.79, or at www.wgrd.com for $12 including tax, shipping and handling.

The tracks will be included on S.D.'s forthcoming release, "Out For Blood" which will be available for purchase on the website later this year.
If you're into power-metal, you'll want some that can do Structural Damage at high volumes.
