| Abandon Announces Release of "Abandon" CD |

Hey Everyone,
Here we go!! It's finally finished and ready to go. After 4 long months of recording/mixing and all the CRAP that comes along with a band being couped up like that...The album is finally finished. All I can say about it is that the five of us are VERY proud of it and we feel that you all will really be suprised as well. We spent a VERY long time working and working and working on all the music as well as the artwork and we couldn't be happier with the product we have. All that time in our new studio, Broken Soul, has really put everything in perspective for us and we really put our hearts in this album.
Here's the deal: February 18th at The Token Lounge we will be releasing the cd. Click "read more" below.

| Through the Mist wins KLQ Heavyweights 1st Round |
|
through_the_mist writes " The KLQ Heavyweight Championship started Friday, January 13th with a bang. Five area bands competed for a chance at the Finals, which of course means a huge cash prize and the title of The Heaviest Band in Grand Rapids! The lineup for the night was Rise, Drawn in Blood, Harvyst, Through the Mist, and Staleface. Each band played great and rocked the 600 people that attended the show at the Intersection. At the end of the night the smoke cleared and Through the Mist was declared the winner. Five more winners will be crowned on the next five Fridays to see who will bring home the bacon on March 3rd! | Cursed Eternity Ready for 2006 |
|
xevkai writes " Cursed Eternity is gearing up for 2006 with a ton of live shows. "We kinda lost our footing with Mike leaving the band November of 2004. We had a good start going with the Cd release and all, so after he called it quits it was like the band hit a brick wall," said guitarist Joe Grode. "But after a long 8 months we found an awesome replacement for Mike, and nab ourselves a lead guitarist along the way as well!" Click "read more" below. "

Michigan
Bands now has a MySpace
page thanks to Matt and Andy. Their MySpace site has been around for a while and
I decided to contact them about linking our two sites up since we have a common
name and purpose. I'm happy to say that they liked the idea. This is a good deal
for both sites since MB doesn't have the resources to manage a MySpace site in
addition to this one. The two sites will operate independently with Matt and
Andy handling everything MySpace and Mitch and I doing our damage over here.
As you know MySpace can be a great place to meet people and make some friends,
but it is also a great place for bands and fans to network. Andy and Matt have
done their home work and now have almost 1,600 friends in their network.
I would encourage any Michigan based bands to visit the "New" MichiganBands
MySpace page and get signed up as a friend in their network.
