 Motor Music Festival Debuts @ Waterford Hills Racetrack
jackieblue writes The Motor Music Festival was created by a group of race car, music and technology enthusiasts to celebrate their respective passions - cars and music! Come out to Waterford Hills on Saturday, May 27th 2006 to celebrate with us and help support science education in our schools. This year we've teamed up with the Skip Barber Racing School to teach 20 people how to drive racing cars. Music starts at 11:00am. Artists include Straight Up, Big Babies and Jackie Blue.  Fatty Haze to appear in Evart!
woody writes West Michigan rockers "Fatty Haze" will be performing Saturday June 10th near Evart, Michigan for the Evart Chapter of the JOKERS Motorcycle Club.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Michigan chapter of the American Liver Foundation. "GO TEAM LAUREN"!

Benefit is open to the public FRIDAY June 9th, SATURDAY June 10th and SUNDAY the 11th,
with LIVE BAND SATURDAY NIGHT!

 Acetylene to host Motts Rock
exz5string writes Acetylene, a local rock/metal band out of Stockbridge, MI is hosting Motts Rock on June 17, 2006. The event will take place during the annual Day In The Village festival in Stockbridge, MI.
We are currently looking for other bands to join the bill. Bands should be able/willing to play a 30-45 minute set. You are welcome to sell your own Cd's, shirts, stickers, whatever at the gig.
Last years show was a hit, promoting several other bands and donating proceeds to Motts Childrens Hospitol. We raised over $400 for them last year, we aim to double that or more this year!

WDET-FM, Detroit’s National Public Radio station has always been a strong supporter of local music. In an effort to return the favor and support, local musicians will perform at three night showcases to benefit WDET's Spring pledge drive.
The fundraiser will start on Thursday thru Saturday at the local music venue, 313.jac- upstairs from Jacoby’s. Featured will be bands and solo performers that reflect the various eclectic styles of music often heard on the station’s unique shows.

 Monroe Street Fair Fundraiser @ Churchill's in Flint
groundscoreadmin writes Come out and see Jam Samich, Glowb and Ground Score as they raise money for the Monroe Street Fair. The Concert is at Churchill's in Flint on Saturday March 4th with the music starting around 10PM. All proceeds from the concert go to benifit the Fair which is held on the first Saturday of April every year in front of Casa Dominick's in Ann Arbor.

 2nd Annual Acoustic Howell Opera House Benefit

Well it's getting to be that time of year, when we Celebrate the Birth of Christ, and give gifts to those we care about. Last year, many of you came together, and bought Tennis Shoes and Socks for the kids at Whaley Children's Center. I must say, it was heart warming when we delivered the NEW SHOES - something so simple, yet so appreciated. Well this year, I'd like to make that GIFT even more GREATFUL, but with a small TWIST....

 Static Presents: 3rd ANNUAL “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAZE” BENEFIT
The holidays are here and it is time once again for the third annual "Home for the Holidaze" an acoustic rock music benefit for area homeless shelters. The event brings together local musicians and former Detroiters who are home for the holiday season. It is a chance to perform for friends and family and for a good cause. The proceeds from the event will go towards food donations to area homeless shelters.
