Come out and enjoy some FREE music all afternoon at the Monroe Street Fair. Now in its fifth year, the Monroe Street Fair is a free outdoor festival featuring live music and vendors. It will be held on Saturday, April 1st, 2006 from 1-6 PM immediately follwing Hash Bash in front of Casa Dominick's, located at 812 Monroe St., Ann Arbor, MI.
The Monroe Street Fair would like to thank Glowb, Ground Score and Jam Samich for contributing their time and talents to the fundraiser that took place on March 4th at Churchill's in Flint, MI. We had a phenomenal turnout and a great time was had by all. If there were ever a question, Flint knows how to party. The proceeds go towards our greater cause. Song Contest Opens for Great Lakes region

The 2006 Great Lakes Songwriting Contest is now open to residents of the eight Great Lakes states and the Province of Ontario.
Formerly the Michigan Songwriting Contest, the new contest features a Grand Prize of $1000 cash. There will be 13 winning songs, with winners getting gift certificates, discounts on songwriting retreats, and publicity opportunities on the contest’s website and in a national music publication. Five of the top winners will have a chance to perform in a live concert at a major venue in the Great Lakes area in late 2006.
