| New Flipping the Pig songs on website! |
|
fthep writes Flipping the Pig's new collection of free MP3s, titled "Giving it to Myself," is now available at
www.flippingthepig.com. Fake instruments galore (horns, strings, assorted other sounds, more horns) as well as several real ones (acoustic/electric guitars, etc.) abound on the 11 songs offered. The sound? Think Harry Nilsson after listening to a lot of late 80s/early 90s college music. Ranging from an uncomfortably-revealing oddball acoustic waltz to a sleepily crooned dirge to a bouncy piano-based pop song with decidedly peeved lyrics, the new songs are sure to please somebody. Maybe.
