 Blue Collar Launches Livingston Underground
On April 1, the Livingston Underground Project will be launched.  The goal of the Livingston Underground is to create an original rock scene for the musicians of the Livingston County area.  At 12:01pm, the Livingston Underground's website will be online at www.livingstonunderground.com.  The night before, the Livingston Underground street team will be on the prowl through the streets of Brighton, Howell, and Hartland distributing the first monthly newsletter to various coffeeshops, music stores, and booksellers.  You can see a list of all outlets on the website. Rainer writes "Three southwest Michigan rock groups have joined together to coordinate the Triple Threat 2004 concert series. The diverse roster contains Sonakofa, Gabriel Burns, and newcomers SXX. They plan to book shows as a packaged "3 bands for one" deal to help promote the area’s music scene, as well as raise the bar on each band’s performance with shorter, fine-tuned sets.  Kingsnakes throw party to celebrate debut CD.
tommyd writes "The Kingsnakes CD release party for their debut CD “Supernatural Disaster” will be held on Friday, April 9 at The Magic Stick, 4140 Woodward Ave, in Detroit. Opening acts for the band will be The Muggs and Long Black Sedan.
The CD was recorded at Thrilla Park recording studios in Clawson by engineer Alex Trajano. Kenny Olson, guitarist for Kid Rock, was the producer on the 9-song album. Click "Read More" below for details.
