BLIND SHAME releases debut CD, prepares for CD Release Party
blindshame2003 writes:
BLIND SHAME is gearing up for the release of their debut CD titled “All N Compass”, and their CD Release Party at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, on Saturday June 5th. Opening the show will be Supermodel-T and Mixxle Plix

The band has been extremely busy the last several months, with finishing their CD and playing a full slate of shows. “We have been playing a lot of road trips, and hitting a lot of college towns,” said drummer Barb Teeter. The band started 2004 with a bang, playing to a packed house at Alvin’s in Detroit. The band also had their show professionally filmed that night for use in a future DVD, as well as footage in a commercial for their upcoming CD Release Party.

June 12th, 2004 - Amy will be appearing at the Detroit Festival of the Arts, on the MGM Grand stage @ 1:30 pm. Amy will be performing with a full band at this show. Amy has been performing acoustic shows since 2001, so this will be the first full band show she has played in 3 years! This one should not be missed.

Cursed Eternity Releases Debut EP
dickisgod writes:
(Detroit, MI) – April 30, 2004 – Cursed Eternity, one of Metro-Detroit's burgeoning metal bands, today unleashed their self-titled EP onto the scene. With a deft, hard-nosed foundation of Melodic Power Metal and Black Metal -- not to mention, a dose of good ol' American Thrash -- the freshly cut tracks have been hailed by sold-out crowds at several pre-release showcases since early March.

"Over the years, the Mecca that was metal has decayed," said Dick Ward, Cursed Eternity's keyboardist/backing vocalist. "We're here to pour the kerosene, light the match, and explode that scene once again."

From the onset of the album's first drum-drenched single, "Betrayed," it's obvious the band isn't shy about paying homage to its influences. The unique sound of the riff -- a sly cocktail of Savatage, Blind Guardian, Borknagar, and Crematory -- assaults listeners from every high-wattage audio channel. No home theater rig or car stereo is safe.

TOTALLY DISTURBED has an 'UNTIMELY RELAPSE' on the 3rd CD...
MrDizturbed writes:
This Friday, April 30th 2004, will be the official release of 'UNTIMELY RELAPSE' from TOTALLY DISTURBED.

The 3rd CD in a long history of playing every hole in the wall in South-Eastern Michigan, it follows the 2003 release of 'FREEDOM FROM FINGERPAINTS' and the 2001 release of 'SONGS FROM THE RUBBER ROOM'. As all T.D. releases, it has 13 tracks of original music from the depths of the asylum.

With a stlye that's part old school Alice Cooper, mixed with a little Southern-Fried Rock and topped off with a Black Sabbath feel, TOTALLY DISTURBED plan on altering your mind for many years to come.
