20thAnnual Labor Day Weekend BOB
|
MB Note: Got a request some time back to post something about The 20th
Annual Labor Day Weekend "Battle of The Bands". Normally I don't
post BOB requests. This event looked like fun and didn't contain the usual
"Record industry execs in attendance", "trip to Maui" or
"entry fees" (one of my favorites). What is does offer is a
weekend of partying, music & motocross with camping and even some
fishing. In addition the bands get certificates, trophies or cash
prizes.
The event runs from Sept 2nd right through Sept 6th (Thursday thru Monday) over
the Labor Day weekend at the "newly owned" Victory Lane in
Stanton, MI. It features about 30 bands over the five days with motocross
and quad races on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
