Less Than 90 Days Till Contest Deadline
MichSongs writes:
The deadline for the 2005 Michigan Songwriting Contest is March 31, less than 90 days away.

The contest is open to current and former Michigan residents only, and features 13 winners, a $1,000 cash prize, and performance and publicity opportunities. No age limits, no music categories, we're looking for Michigan's best songs: rock, folk, country, jazz, instrumental, Christian, alt-anything, hip hop. Each song judged is on its own merits.

Formerly the Metro Detroit Songwriting Contest (and formerly limited to Southeast Michigan residents), this year's contest is co-sponsored by Elderly Instruments and Lamb's Retreat for Songwriters.

For info on the 2004 winners and the 2005 contest, go to www.MichSongs.com.

Terry Lee Bolton Cd Now Available In Michigan
shotgunbolton writes:
Terry Lee Bolton’s new CD “Don’T Let The Hat Fool Ya!”, is now available at these fine metro Detroit records stores!

This is a major sign of success for Terry Lee Bolton's CD! Terry had great success with The Push Band from Detroit in the 80's and went from playing drums for Push to fronting his own group The Terry Lee Bolton Rock N Roll Cowboy Show in Nashville! Record sales have been great in Nashville and now this insane artist has set his sights once again on Detroit his home town! Check out www.terryleebolton.com and buy this CD and  you won't be disappointed!

MRC Records CEO, Lee Rosenblum.
