| THe Shaking Guns Shake it up |
|
Just
added The Shaking Guns
to the band links section. Went to their website and clicked through to their
Sound
Click Page for some audio demos. What's that I hear? A slide guitar?
Rolling Stones power cords? It makes for an interesting mix and prompted me to
add a much needed Southern Rock category for original artists.
Check out the tunes. As the band admits they are rough demos, but like the
spaghetti sauce "it's in there". Most of the tunes don't have vocals yet, but,
on the couple that do, Aaron England does a respectable job of mixing the vocal
styles of Mick Jagger, Ronnie Vanzant and Iggy Pop.
On another note, the band is looking for a lead guitar player and bass player.
Hopefully that does not mean that the slide player on the demos is gone. It's
refreshing to hear a lead player that just fits the music and doesn't get paid
by "NPM". That's notes per measure for those that are into that kind of thing.
