| Tuesday Evening Music Club Tripled Previous Turnout at Meijer Gardens |
|
ralston writes Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park's final concert of the season for the Tuesday Evening Music Club regional band series had many local and regional Michigan musicians taking the stage. Host Ralston Bowles invited any artists who played in the month long series to deliver a closing, ensemble rendition of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." Guests included guitarist Michael Crittenden, violinist Bruce Ling, keyboard player Dave Molinari and members of The Hummingbirds and Oxter Mahone. Marketing director, Sally Littlefair from the Gardens gave Ralston a stage hug, and for good reason: The series tripled last year's turnout by drawing close to 4,500 in attendance.
